  • Jessica and Chris Marry At The Pittsburgh Wyndham Grand

Jessica and Chris L. headed to the Pittsburgh Wyndham Grand hotel to be married this past Saturday, July 7th, 2012. With a packed room Pastor Ken Jones married the couple surrounded by flowers, purple uplighting and a bridal party of twenty groomsman and bridesmaids.

Immediately following the 5:00 ceremony the guests headed to the foyer for drinks, hors d'oeuvres and to watch a DVD video presentation about the newlyweds. Jessica, Chris and their bridal party had their pictures taken by photographer Bob Fritz not only at the alter, but across the street at the park.

Their Grand Ballroom had up-lighting in purple to match the bridesmaids african violet gowns. The tables were decorated in silver with tall floating candle centerpieces while the chairs sported gorgeous purple accents. Above the head table adorned the wall was an illuminated monogram with the couples initials.

Their wedding cake was gently decorated with purple flowers to keep with the theme of the wedding.

The couple chose Justin Timberlake's song "Sexyback" to introduce the bridal party to while they entered to cheering guests to Keith Urban's hit Better Life". Jessica and Chris immediately enjoyed their first dance to "Into The Mystic" by Van Morrison.

Following a wonderful dinner and the cake cutting their parents started off the dancing with a traditional Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance to Bruce Springsteen's "When You Need Me". Both the bridal party and guests enjoyed dancing and celebrating the evening to a variety of songs from doo wop thru today with a little extra emphasis on Britney Spears and Lady Gaga.

Jessica chose not to throw her bouquet by did have an anniversary dance to "Remember When" by Alan Jackson to which 57 years was the winning couples length of marriage, Congrats!. In between dancing and mingling guests who missed it were also able to watch the DVD video presentation near a table ladened with delicious cookies. Though only 12 minutes in length the dvd video brought back many memories each of Jessica and Chris as they were growing up.

Congratulations to both Jessica and Chris L. on their marriage and hope you have a blast in Hawaii on their Honeymoon. Congrats go out to their parents as well for all the hard work they put forth for this grand event.

I would like to thank Dana Collins, Senior Banquet coordinator, her assistant Cale along with the staff at the Wyndham Grand for doing such a wonderful job for newlyweds Jessica and Chris on Saturday.
