The wedding ceremony and reception of Luci and Luke with Pittsburgh Disc Jockey DJ Rockin Steve was at the Pennsylvanian. The middle of September brought perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony at the Pennsylvanian. Gathered under the large rotunda were 170 guests awaiting the entrance of Luci Thralls and Luke Holbrook.

With Cara Garafalo on the violin the guests watched as Luci's bridesmaids made their way to the center of the rotunda surrounded by a large ring of battery powered mini candle votives.
Cara playing the violin for the ceremony music made for the perfect atmosphere at the Pennsylvanian. Beautiful sounds filled the area for the prelude. Once announced husband and wife they and their bridal party exited inside to the foyer while Cara played several more arrangements.

Cocktail hour began also held under the rotunda. Guests listened to a wide variety of songs covering various decades and genres. As the end of cocktail hour approached the doors opened to the grand hall and guests were directed to their appropriate tables.

With the bridal party, parents and Luci and Luke lined up for the introductions guests applauded all and AC/DC's "Back In Black" played. With the entire bridal party dressed all in black it was quite fitting. Luci and Luke entered to "You Shook Me All Night Long".

The first formality of the reception was the first dance. The newlyweds chose "All You Need Is Love" by the Beatles for their song. In keeping with a rock style music selection, Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" was played for the cutting of the cake.

A fantastic dinner was served by Rania's Catering only to be followed by a serving of cake and cookies. Luke danced with his mother to "Make Someone Happy", a classic Jimmy Durante hit for the mother and son dance. Luci danced with her mother to Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop 'Till You Get Enough".

Guests joined in after a minute and an evening of celebration was well underway. The couple had provided many and various sized flip flops for the guests to be more comfortable during the dancing.

Later in the evening guests were treated to hotdogs and popcorn keeping the party going until midnight. Some of the best received songs played this evening were, Earth Wind & Fire's "September", "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry, "Gangnam Style" by PSY and "The Wobble" by V.I.C.

Many decades and genres of music kept the young and not so young dancing their hearts out. Luci even had a Soul Train going as guests partnered up and danced their own style moves across the dance floor.

We send along to Luke and Luci our best wishes for a successful and healthy marriage. Good Luck together and enjoy your new life together.
