Once guests found their seats the introductions were put immediately into motion. With the parents being introduced to Chic's "Good Times" as terrible towels waved with enthusiasm the bridal party danced their way in to"Black and Yellow", Wiz Khalfia. Amidst an awesome scene of black and yellow terrible towels and cheering guests, Ally and Derek entered to classic rock group Styx's hit, "Renegade".
"All I Want" by Staind was this couples choice for the first dance song with cake cutting song following with the Archies "Sugar Sugar". Derek did indeed wear a little bit of the cake's icing but kept composed while feeding a piece of the cake to his lovely wife.
Following two toasts and blessing a fantastic dinner was offered to guests in the way of stations. A pasta, chicken and new york strip steak station made for a quick dining experience. Just as dinner was coming to an end, an ice cream bar opened along with a massive display of sweet smelling cookies.
Ally and her father brought a little bit of country to the city with their father and daughter's dance to "There Goes My Life" by Kenny Chesney. Derek danced with his mother to Mikki Verich's "For My Son" for their mother and son dance song.
With the dance floor open guests wasted no time in getting their groove on. Popular songs from the 50's thru today kept the party going strong and lots of fun. If guests were not dancing they were at the photo booth getting their pictures taken as they helped build a scrap book for these two wonderful people.
Later in the evening an anniversary dance was held which led to Ally tossing her bouquet to Destiny's Child hit, "Jumpin' Jumpin". Sir Mix A Lot's "Baby Got Back" put Derek in the mood for the garter removal then quickly brought forward all the single men for the garter toss. The routine was finalized to "Get Outta My Dreams" by Billy Ocean.
The party continued with guests regenerated from the two bars and great music. The wedding guests sent Ally and Derek on their way to the final song "Don't Stop Believing'" by Journey but only after they sang their hearts out to Garth Brooks "Friends In Low Places".
Those that wanted to continue the party did so at McFadden's with the newlyweds prior to their departure on their new life together.
We wish all the best life has to offer to these two great people and we are very grateful to be a part of their wedding celebration.
