  • Wedding Grand Concourse | Jennifer & Cory

Grand Concourse at Station Square was the destination following a 3:00 wedding ceremony at St. Bernard's Church. Jennifer and Cory headed there to celebrate their marriage. The cocktail hour, dinner and reception were held in the grand ballroom beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.

Being a fan of classic rock, Jenn and Cory chose Van Halen's "Right Now" for the parents and bridal party entrance. The music filled the room with anticipation for our newlyweds appearance. Not to be outdone Jenn and Cory were introduced down the staircase of this historic venue with nearly 200 guests applauding to "Dance The Night Away" another Van Halen classic played in the background.

The new Mr. and Mrs. immediately embarked upon their first dance together to Nat King Cole's "That's All". Cake cutting was the next formality with "Everlasting Love" by Natalie Cole playing in the background as these two sampled the wedding cake.

Leading off was Jenn's father who welcomed everyone, followed by Cory's brother acting as best man and Jenn's sister the matron of honor each giving a toast. Upon completion of the blessing guests enjoyed the entree' while listening to a variety of music including a few Christmas songs just for atmosphere.

"It's Your Song" by Garth Brooks was the choice for Jenn to dance with her dad for a father daughter dance. Cory's mom selected the Beatles hit "My Life" for their mother daughter dance. Before opening up the dance floor Jenn danced with her grandfather to "Make Someone Happy" by Jimmy Durante. Both of them dance like they were dancing on air.

Cory, Jenn, their parents and bridal opened up the dancing for the evening with Toby Keith's "Christmas To Christmas". So appropriate. Their wedding guests joined in after a minute and immediately began having a great time. A variety of music from the 60's thru today kept all happy as they celebrated the couples wedding nuptials.

Later in the evening Jenn tossed her bouquet from the Grand Concourse's staircase to David Guetta's "Where Them Girl's At". Cory stepped up to the challenge of removing his lovely wife's garter to "You and I" by Lady Gaga. Many handsome gentlemen gathered at the base of the staircase to catch the garter thrown by Cory while yet another great Van Halen classic, "Jump" played. The garter was then placed upon the bouquet recipients leg while the song "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC filled the venue.

The festivities immediately continued with guests dancing on the staircase and upon the dance floor. A few popular favorites included Gangnam Style, Billie Jean, Summer of '69 and the all-time favorite, Sweet Caroline. Many group sing-alongs had all enjoying themselves to the fullest.

Finishing up the evening was "I've Had The Time of My Life", Jennifer Warnes and Bill Medley. The enthusiastic guests made their way home with numerous bags of wedding cookies and sweet candy treats. There was even a doughnut making machine available for all to create their customized doughnut.

We wish nothing but the best for our two newlyweds as they embark upon their new life together. Have a fantastic and healthy Christmas season and we hope you remember these times forever.
