  • Armstrong Farms Wedding | Jaclyn & Patrick

Armstrong Farms located in Saxonburg PA was the location for Jaclyn & Patrick's wedding ceremony. A perfect day for an outdoor wedding ceremony at the gazebo on the lake. The service began at 4PM with ten bridesmaids, seven groomsmen and two pairs of flower girls and ring bearers in attendance.

Pastor Tom Plunket officiated the service while over two hundred guests watched with a gorgeous view behind these two newlyweds. Even Stella the goose made her appearance as the groomsmen escorted the bridesmaids to their positions.

As a sign of their faith towards each other Jackie and Pat planted a tree to which they will plant at their new home. This tree will grow over the years as their love towards each other too will grow, stronger and stronger.

At precisely 4:31 they were pronounced husband and wife, then made their way up the hill with bridal party and parents following. As they had their pictures taken guests enjoyed cocktail hour both in and outside of the large well decorated barn. A wide variety of music was played both in and out of the barn.

Upon completion of photos the entire bridal party and parents gathered to be placed in order and informed of formalities in the near future. With all guests in the barn the parents entered first to a loud applause. The bridal party followed while "Only Imagine" by David Guetta feat. Chris Brown played.

Patrick and Jaclyn followed to Pearl Jams "Falling In Love" played filling the venue along with cheers and applause.

Immediately following the introductions Pat and Jackie enjoyed their first dance together. Being country fans they chose Tim McGraw's "My Best Friend". Absolutely so appropriate as these two really are each others best friend.

The cutting of the wedding cake ensued next to "Marry You" by Bruno Mars. Following the cake cutting all of the wedding guests moved to the tent area for the toasts, blessing and dining.

Upon completion of dinner guests made their way back to the barn as Jackie and her father enjoyed the father daughter dance. An acoustic version of Rod Stewart's "Forever Young" was so very touching for the parent dance as photos of Jackie's childhood were shown on the wall during the dance.

Similar was the mother and son dance as Pat danced with his mom to "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd and his childhood pictures adorned the wall of the barn. So many great memories were revived for the family.

Guests hit the dance floor and partied through to the end of the evening. Some of the popular hits included "Scream and Shout" by the Black Eyed Peas featuring Britney Spears, "I Like How It Feels" by Pitbull, Timberland's "The Way You Are" and many more. Even the classics such as "Shout"-Isley Brothers and "Pretty Young Thing"-Michael Jackson kept the wedding guests dancing and singing along to their favorites.

As the dancing concluded numerous guests made their way down toward the gazebo for a very soothing campfire. Here an acoustic guitarist played many songs thus keeping the party going further into the night.

I must say this Armstrong Farms wedding with Jaclyn and Patrick was one of the best events we have had there and we wish them the best luck in their new lives together.
