  • He Asked and She Said Yes! | Lindsay & Matt Celebrated At Duquesne Club

A Heinz Chapel ceremony was the result of "He asked and She said yes!" proposal for Lindsay & Matt W. They celebrated this blessed event at the Duquesne Club in downtown Pittsburgh.

It was a 4:30 ceremony on a picture perfect day as these two newlyweds sealed their vows with a kiss. Over 200 of their closest friends and family were a part of this special celebration.

The evening began on the lower level of the lavish Duquesne Club as guests ingled and enjoyed some light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. While the bridal party prepared for the grand entrance the wedding guests made their way upstairs to the main dining area. Once everyone had taken their seats the evening started off in a very fun and exciting way with a customized introduction.

With a little bit of pre-planning we did a personal rendition to the famous Blues Brothers "I Can't Turn You Loose" song. Guests began clapping to the beat immediately and as a personalized introduction began. The bridal party entered with dark sunglasses just like Jake and Elwood wore in the movie. Their dance moves only invigorated the party goers as our newlyweds anxiously awaited their turn.

The music segued into the Blues Brothers hit "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love". Again a custom script welcomed the couple into the room. Being unable to end the excitement the music continued a bit with Matt and Lindsay fully enjoying themselves.

The first dance followed to Adele's "To Make You Feel My Love". Parents and bridal party joined in shortly thereafter sharing in a very special time for our bride and Groom.

Lindsay's father welcomed all to his daughter and newly son-in-laws wedding reception. Meredith, the maid of honor followed with a toast and Leslie the best man finished out the toast with his personal speech. The blessing was given by Lindsay's very own grandmother Barb.

The gorgeous wedding cake was cut following the serving of the salads to the Michael Buble's song "L.O.V.E.". Entree's were served to all as guests listed to a variety of romantic dinner music.

"You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker was the selected song for the father daughter dance. Matt enjoyed a very special dance with his mother to "Wild Flowers" by Tom Petty for the mother son dance.

The "3 Months Off" band started off the wedding celebrations dancing packing the dance floor. Tom, Keith and Timmy the band members played a variety of great sing-along songs and kept all wanting more. Some of the chosen songs were "Louie Louie", "I Saw Her Standing There" and a special rendition of Johnny Cash's "Ring Of Fire / Folsum Prison Blues".

After about 45 minutes the band took a short break as Lindsay tossed her wedding bouquet. Single ladies lined up as "Where My Girl's At" by the group 702 rang out in the background. Many newer songs were played as the dance floor continued to be packed with dancers.

After a handful of of line dances and other songs played the band returned with more classic rock songs with Lindsay's father stepping in to sing a few songs himself. It was such a truly personable experience for all and a time everyone will recall for years to come.

The evening festivities came to a close at midnight with guests and bridal party having the time of their lives. It was such a wonderful experience to work with the "3 Months Off" band as well as being included in this couples wedding day.

Many of us were happy he asked and she said yes, as Lindsay and Matt celebrated at the Duquesne Club. We wish both have a very long and happy marriage.
