Pittsburgh Wedding DJ | DJ Rockin Steve - 100 Wedding Last Dance Songs | Best Wedding Reception Closing Songs
  • 100 Wedding Last Dance Songs | Best Wedding Reception Closing Songs

    These 100 wedding last dance songs list is a collection of the very best wedding reception closing songs to bring the celebration of marriage to a finale. Virtually always it's an upbeat medley that will bring every single person to the dance floor to rally around the bride and groom as they sing their hearts out.

    Guests encircle the newlyweds with arms locked together, swaying back and forth as they watch the couple dance in the center. Sometimes the bride and groom invite a few of their guests into the center where a soul train starts off with couples showing off a few dance moves while all cheer loudly.

    Occasionally we may conclude with a slow song topping off a great wedding closer. While the venue raises the lights giving everyone an opportunity to grab their shoes, purses and jackets they may enjoy one final song at the close of the evening.

    The song that we select, or you choose should be one that everyone knows the lyrics to and will send them home with a line or two stuck in their heads. I love when I hear a wedding guest heading out the door singing a few lyrics as they embark on their way to their room.

    But it isn't just the last song that raises the energy in the room, it's everything that lead up to that point. The specific songs played, the order of them and how they were delivered all contributes to guests remarking on how much fun they had or this was the best wedding ever.

    Jordan and Andrew F. sent us a review from their Carnegie Museum Wedding, and to quote one line;
    "We have had so many people tell us that the music you played was outstanding! We all had an amazing time!"

    That's what we love to hear because we know that we had selected the perfect songs and delivery order to bring the wedding celebration to a climax. Our couples help us too by telling us what they like along with a few favorites. Coupled with our discussions, who is in attendance, the age of guests along with the location and time of the year we compile a playlist that delivers home every time.

    So hear it is, our list of the 100 best wedding reception closing songs (and some for party's) that we browse thru trying to find that one super closer, upbeat and slow. I will update it from time to time. There's no right or wrong, just the right song at the right time. Songs are listed in alphabetically order not by play count or popularity.
