The Hosanna House was decorated with a red and black theme. Black table cloths and chair covers with red sashes made the venue look even more exquisite. Tall centerpieces adorned with deep red rose bouquets brightened up every table and red up-lighting illuminated the walls.
The sweetheart table was set on the stage with white illumination providing the right ambience. Kudos go out to the family and friends who decorated the facility, all that was missing were guests and a bride and groom.
Cocktail hour began at 4:00 with light hors d' oeuvres and drinks at the bar. Upon the bridal party arriving they were all anxious to get things underway and start the party.
With everyone in their seats the parents were introduced to Pharrell Williams pop hit "Happy". The bridal party followed to "Clique" by Kanye West and our newlyweds happily made their way in to "Got Your Back" by T.I.
Orlandria and Jared immediately went into their first dance and enjoyed John Legend's "All of Me" hit. Following their first official dance together two toasts were given. Kaleena the maid of honor then the best man Corey. Followed was a brief blessing by Orlandria's father Oscar, then dinner. During dinner guests were shown a variety of pictures of these two ranging in ages upon the large screen on the stage.
Once all of the wedding guests were thru dining Jared and Orlandria cut their wedding cake. A lovely 3 tier round cake with black trim. The song chosen for this formality was "These Words" by Marcus Canty.
"Daddy" by Beyonce' was the father and daughter dance song giving Oscar a few minutes to dance with his daughter. Jared and his mother followed for a mother and son dance. Their chosen song was Boyz II Men's classic hit, "A Song For Mama".
Wedding guests hit the dance floor as V.I.C.'s "Wobble" brought them out of their seats. Dancing continued with a variety of hits including numerous old skool classics. Other favorites of the newlyweds were anything by Beyonce', "Best I Ever Had" by Drake, Iggy's "Fancy" and a few good twerkin' hits.
Orlandria tossed her bouquet to "Marry Me" by Bruno Mars, very appropriate and Jared removed her garter to Trey Songz "Invented Sex". "Turn Down For What by "Lil Jon & DJ Snake played as the young lady who caught the bouquet, had the garter placed upon her leg by the gentleman who had caught it earlier.
Dancing continued giving everyone a chance to celebrate with these two wonderful people deeply in love. We wish good health and happiness to Jared and his wife Orlandria in their new life together. It was a pleasure being a part of their marriage celebration at the Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg this past July.
