Miguel and Maria started their newest journey at St. Mary's of the Assumption for a 2:00 wedding ceremony. Following their nuptials the newlyweds and their family made their way to the Music Hall to prepare for dining and celebration.
While the guests enjoyed some great music and hors d'oeuvres on the upper level the bridal party embarked on a few different areas for the taking of some amazing photographic images.
Numerous images were taken of Miguel, Maria and their bridal party in the museums Hall of Architecture and everyone's smiles just made the pictures even more special. It was easy to see these two had a deep love for each other and were having the time of their lives.
Once photos were finished they took a few minutes to freshen up in their private bridal suite. After they had enjoyed a few hors d'oeuvres of their own we prepared for their grand entrance before all of the guests.
With wedding attendees on looking from above over the railing to the main ballroom below, one by one each couple was introduced. Maria's parents were the first to enter to a wonderful welcome from their closest friends and family. "Celebration" by Kool & the Gang played as they made their way to the center of the dance floor. Miguel's parents followed as the applause and cheers continued.
Continuing the introductions was our bridal party with the bridesmaids all wearing gorgeous purple gowns. Their escorts led them to form a large circle around the dance floor as everyone prepared for the newlyweds entrance. With Stevie Wonder's classic hit "Signed, Sealed and Delivered" played Maria and Miguel made their way to the center of the dance floor as onlooking guests cheered and took pictures from above.
Once the applauding faded this wonderful couple enjoyed their very first dance together as husband and wife. "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green was their selection for this formality and they enjoyed every minute of it. It was hard not to see the glow in their faces.
Upon completion of the first dance guests made their way down to the main floor. Cocktails continued for a short time until Maria's father Pasquale welcomed and thanked everyone for being here today for his daughter's marriage. The best man Nick followed with a toast with Elizabeth, the maid of honor giving the final toast. The blessing was given by Alma, Miguel's mother.
When Maria and Miguel finished their delicious meal they cut their lovely wedding cake. Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight" was the couple's selection for the background music. Following the cake cutting they mingled with their wedding guests, the best friends and family, they and their family have.
Upon the completion of everyone's fine dining experience Maria danced with her father for a touching father daughter dance. "The Prayer" by Andrea Bocelli was the selection for this touching moment. Roberta Flack's "The First Time, Ever I Saw Your Face" was the song chosen for Miguel to dance with his mom for the mother and son dance.
The party quickly began afterwards with guests dancing to a variety of fantastic songs. The Tarentella, Electric Slide and Happy by Pharrell Williams were just a few these newlyweds definitely wanted played for their guests. The dance floor was never bare as everyone celebrated with our newlyweds.
Just as folks were starting to lose their energy Maria made her way to the upper level where she tossed her wedding bouquet. "Single Ladies" by Beyonce' was the background melody as all the single ladies below scrambled to catch the lovely floral creation.
The party continued with some newer hits until the evenings end. Miguel and Maria left shortly before the close of the evening. Guests wished them a fine farewell as they embarked upon a new life together as one now. Those that remained party'd until midnight.
We wish both Maria and Miguel all the best of health, wealth and happiness in their new journey together and were thankful to be a part of their wedding celebration.
