34. Marriage Planning
It is very important to focus your energy on planning the marriage itself, not just the wedding. This means sitting down with your fiancÚ what you both want your marriage to mean, and how you both want it to work.
35. Make Getting Your License A Date
When you both go to pick up your marriage license turn it into a date. Go to lunch, buy flowers afterwards to commemorate the occasion.
36. Build Your Relationship During Planning
Wedding planning should be a time when two people deeply in love can build on their relationship. You should be building on the warmth and closeness that brought you both together in the first place. Work to build and develop positive routines during the wedding planning process. Work jointly in making important decisions, not just wedding related, and take special interest in each other's lives. Remember to set aside some quiet time together.
37. Remember The Romance
Plan to have a romantic dinner at least once a week with no wedding discussions at this time. You will be overwhelmed from time to time. Take time out from the busy planning and enjoy these special times.
Give yourself some time to snuggle with each other. Once you have gotten caught up with the plans, take time out to recoup.
38. Plan Jointly
When making your decisions about the big day doesn't mean everything is 50/50. One may be more dominant in a decision while the other may be dominant in another choice. Plan together as a team, not as one.
39. Stress | Diet | Exercise
Stress can come from a variety of sources including a wedding. Even tough it is resulting from a positive source it can be negative to your health. Take time to eat well and although you may feel you have no time for exercise, it can actually help to eliminate the stress.
